do you have a little porch or even a deep window ledge? if no porch, i recommend getting little pots w/ plastic bottoms (that way they don't leak). a lot of herbs will grow indoors if you put them in full sun.
i didn't have much luck with the herbs last summer because i had an icky watering can...so they were rarely watered. poor things.

I love your blog I hope it inspires you to do more crafting because you are amazing. I have the same problem with buying more fabric than I use. It is such an addiction. I actually hide my purchases from family and friends because I made a vow to use up my existing fabric before I bought anymore
